Their films had resulted in more than 150 million pounds in box office sales showing the great success their movies had made. Icon Film Distributions have offices in London so it would be easier to communicate with them. The main branch is Icon Productions which in based in America therefore if we wanted our film to enter the American market it could be possible especially because of the American Vampire Craze. We approached the idea of Icon Film Distributors to market our film after researching the Film Distributors of 30 Days of Nights (2007) and Let Me In (2010).


Focus Features both produce and distribute films, majority being box office hits. Focus Features distribute films all around the world, this can make entering international markets easier. Focus Features is the specialty film unit of Universal Pictures, with association of the big film studio having Focus Features distribute our film would garner attention of audiences familiar with Universal Pictures films. We approached the idea of Focus Features to market our film after researching the Film Distributors of The American (2010) and Hanna (2011).



Sony Pictures Classics moderately invest on small independent films, this makes them very resourceful. Not only could they market our film but also help with funding. Their headquarters are in America which could possibly mean easier access to the American market. We approached the idea of Sony Pictures Classics to market our film after researching the Film Distributors of The Skin I Live In (2011) and Moon (2009).


We decided to choose Focus Feature to distribute our film Guerrilla because we feel they can attract a big audience. Regarding their past films majority of them have been successful in box office hits. Recognition by Focus Features could open opportunities for future films with their association with major film studio Universal Pictures.
